18+ Age Policy
La Sociedad is an adults-only community. This page explains our minimum age requirement and how it's enforced.
Minimum age
You must be at least 18 years old — the legal age of majority in Australia — to apply for membership, attend any La Sociedad event, or book a venue or studio through us. There are no exceptions.
How we verify age
Every membership applicant provides their date of birth and a verification selfie as part of their application, which is reviewed by our team as part of a background check before membership is approved. We may ask for additional identity documents where needed.
Misrepresentation
Providing false information about your age, or attempting to circumvent our verification process, is grounds for immediate rejection of your application or, if discovered after approval, immediate and permanent removal from the community.
Guests
Any guest brought by a member to an event, venue, or studio booking is subject to the same age and verification standard as members themselves. Members are responsible for confirming this before bringing a guest.
