When you apply for membership, we collect your full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and a verification selfie. If you make an event, venue, or studio inquiry, we also collect whatever details you choose to share about that request.
Why we collect it
Your details and selfie are used solely to verify your identity and age, and to support the background check that's part of every membership application. Contact details are used to communicate with you about your application, bookings, and events.
Who sees it
Membership applications and verification materials are reviewed only by La Sociedad's team and, where used, our verification/background-check provider. We do not publish, sell, or share member details, guest lists, or venue addresses with any third party for marketing purposes. Information is disclosed to others only where required by law.
How it's stored
Verification data is stored securely and retained only as long as needed for membership administration and legal compliance, then deleted. You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us at the address below.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to any legal obligation we have to retain it. To make a request, email admin@la-sociedad.club.
