Privacy & Discretion

Discretion is the first rule at La Sociedad. Here's exactly what we collect, why, and how it's protected.

What we collect

To review a membership application, we collect: full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, a verification selfie, and your confirmation that you are 21 years or older. As part of our background check process, we may collect additional identity verification information.

For event, venue, and studio enquiries submitted through our contact form, we also collect your city or region, the nature of your enquiry, and any details you choose to share about your event or project.

To verify your identity and confirm you meet our 21+ age requirement

To assess and respond to venue, studio, and event enquiries
To contact you about your application, membership, or booking

Who sees it

Applications and verification details are reviewed by our internal team only. They are never published, displayed publicly, or shared with other members or guests. Where we use a third-party background-check provider, your details are shared with that provider solely to complete the check, under their own privacy and security terms.

We do not sell member data, and we do not share addresses, guest lists, or attendee details outside the small team responsible for running each event, venue, or studio booking.

Content and recordings

For content studio bookings, La Sociedad does not access, store, or review the content you produce. You are responsible for the storage and distribution of your own content. Recording or photographing other members or guests at any La Sociedad event or venue without their explicit consent is not permitted, regardless of the setting.

How long we keep it

We retain application and verification information for as long as your membership is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet our safety, legal, and record-keeping obligations. You can request deletion of your data at any time, subject to any legal retention requirements.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, request corrections, or request deletion at any time by emailing admin@la-sociedad.club.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as La Sociedad grows. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date at the top of this page.
